The DOST-PTRI spearheads the annual celebration of the “Philippine Tropical Fabrics Month”, an institutionalized event under Proclamation No. 313 issued in 2012, which declared January of every year as PTF month. This year’s celebration carries the theme, “Redefining PTF Towards Creativity, Sustainability, and Inclusivity of the Philippine Textile Industry”.

They are also launching the 1^st TELArawan Mobile Photography Contest open to all government employees. The contest is focused on promoting the use of “Telang Gawa sa Pilipinas”.
